Bunmi Adekore, works as an investor in clean technology related solutions and enterprises. He presently leads investing at DawnBox – a fund investing in innovative industrial solutions.

He was a Partner at Breakthrough Energy Ventures, where he led investments into innovative companies in manufacturing, mobility, energy and in emerging markets. He has been a serial entrepreneur for more than a decade, focused on hardware manufacturing enterprises in clean technology, semiconductor engineering and biotechnology.

Bunmi has a technical background in Materials Science and Electronic Engineering from North Carolina State University where he received a bachelor’s and doctorate degree in Materials Science and Engineering.
